Honored to be a panel speaker at the iconic VULNCON 2025 conference recently at Bangalore. Alongside senior leaders Praga (Pragatheesh) and Manikant R Singh moderated by Sudhir Goel, we deliberated on “Global Cybersecurity Leadership: What CISOs Need in 2025 and Beyond” covering different aspects of the evolving CISO role: – threat landscape redefining security responsibilities for global CISOs – biggest challenges in hiring, training, and retaining top cybersecurity talent – handling the growing complexity of cross-border regulations and data sovereignty – using AI and automation to reduce complexity and accelerate defense – CISO priorities for 2025 and much more With multiple tracks, keynotes, tech sessions, hacking villages, panel discussions, CTFs the learning spirit was in full flow. The vibes, energy & enthusiasm of the predominantly young attendees many of them from Gen Z to learn was infectious and the venue – the hallowed precincts of JN Tata Auditorium at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) made it all the more apt for the vibrant conference. For sure, Vulncon has become a big brand and must attend conference in a short time since its debut. Proud of the youthful team behind the brand and best wishes for even bigger success in the times to come! Thankful to the young founders of Vulncon Hitesh Patra and Bipul Jaiswal for the opportunity! Many thanks to Ranjith Singh for the connect and Divakar Prayaga for all support!

“Visiting Alliance’s new campus was a surreal experience. It took me back to 1998 when we were the second batch, with hostels all around BTM. The campus may have grown, but the memories remain. Alliance was a small, close-knit family. The professors and placement committee were fantastic. It laid the foundation for my career, and today, it’s a big name. Thanks, Alliance!”

My career took off immediately after graduating, and I owe it all to Alliance.”
Vice President, Standard Chartered Bank, Batch of 2003
It was a very interesting few days here in the campus. And, you know, usually you’d think 10 days is too little to learn something and 10 days is too. What are you going to do in 10 days even? But then later I found out, oh, there’s a lot of things you can do in this kind of 10 days with them, with the schedule so jam packed that you don’t even get time to rest almost. But it was worth it. It was definitely very worth it.

My experience here in Alliance has been very interesting. I found it helpful to listen to what the professors had to say during our lectures. And I got a taste of what university life is like. So that was one of the major takeaways for me. And I loved interacting with everyone, the faculty members, the professors, and even the YLA participants. Another thing that we did was when we visited the Britannia factory, the production house, and it was eye opening. I’ve never been to an actual manufacturing center before, so walking along the factory floor and looking at the workers, looking at them, packaging the individual, you know, biscuits and selecting the right amount, it was wonderful.

I made a lot of friends and I bonded with them very well. We all were very close, and we used to hang out in a room for a lot of time and speaking about our sessions, we had a lot of sessions, especially the favorite ones where Uma ma’am’s sessions which is on team building and leadership and the one on arts and science art systems.
