About the Department

Mechanical Engineers are skilled in designing innovations and technological advancements in high-tech areas such as mechanical systems, robotics, nanotechnology, and mechatronics and are recognised for their generalist engineering expertise.

Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering—one of the oldest and broadest branches of engineering—allows graduates to acquire knowledge and skills across various engineering fields.

At the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, the B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering is carefully crafted with a strong emphasis on the design aspects of the discipline, including tool and die design, industrial robotics, gears and cams, and oil hydraulics and pneumatics.

The curriculum covers core areas such as management, accounting, economics, marketing, finance, and organisational behaviour, giving students a well-rounded understanding of business operations.

Course content is regularly updated to reflect current business practices, digital transformation, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and global market dynamics.

Students learn through live projects, case studies, simulations, internships, presentations, and group assignments that mirror real business scenarios and decision-making environments.

Lorem Ipsum has been the industrys standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book.
