About the Department

The department offers B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering, M.Tech in VLSI and Embedded Systems, and Ph.D. programmes, preparing students for careers in industry, research, and academia.

To support advanced learning and research, the department is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories and industry-standard design environments. Specialized VLSI and EDA software resources include Campus wide licensed MATLAB, Cadence Design Suite, TCAD tools through C2S Scheme (Silvaco and Synopsys), EDA Tools (Xilinx Vivado), CISCO Networking tools. These resources enable comprehensive training in areas such as semiconductor device modeling, VLSI design, embedded systems, and communication networks.

By integrating a strong curriculum with hands-on training, industry projects, and research opportunities, the department strives to produce highly skilled engineers and innovators who contribute to advancements in VLSI, Communication Systems, and Embedded System technologies.

Course content is regularly updated to reflect current business practices, digital transformation, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and global market dynamics.
