Your personalised class schedule will be made available to you by the Office of International Affairs (OIA) after consultation with the respective School. Timetables are released before the start of each semester. Any changes are communicated through official university email and portal announcements.
Yes. If you are joining Alliance University with prior higher education credits, you must submit official transcripts for evaluation during the admission process. The concerned School and the Registrar’s Office assess equivalence based on Alliance University’s credit transfer policy.
Evaluation methods, including exams, projects, presentations, and assignments, are detailed in each course syllabus. Attendance is mandatory to be eligible for end-semester examinations. Exam schedules and guidelines are published on the student portal well in advance.

The complete fee structure for your program is available on the Programs webpage and in your official offer letter. All fees must be paid as per the deadlines announced in the academic calendar through the online payment gateway on the Student Portal.
Refund policies are governed by university guidelines and UGC norms. Please refer to your admission offer letter and the Fee Refund Policy document for detailed clauses and eligible refund periods. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the Accounts Department.
Yes. Merit-based and need-based scholarships are available for eligible international students. Details, eligibility criteria, and application forms are available on the University Scholarships page. The OIA can guide you on scholarships specifically available to international applicants.
You must enter India on a valid Student Visa (Type ‘S’). It is your responsibility to maintain valid visa status throughout your period of study. Tourist or other visa types cannot be converted to a student visa within India.
Student visa extensions must be applied for before the current visa expires. The OIA provides the required supporting documents, such as bonafide certificates and fee receipts. Applications are submitted online through the FRRO/FRO Portal, followed by an in-person appointment.
Yes. FRRO registration is mandatory for all international students. You must register with the local Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) within 14 days of arrival in Bengaluru. The OIA conducts orientation sessions and assists you with the required documents and online process.
Applications for university hostel accommodation are separate from programme admission. Due to limited availability, students are encouraged to apply early. Details on facilities, fees, and the application process are available on the University Hostels page. Allotment is generally on a first-come, first-served basis.
Yes. All international students must have valid health insurance for the duration of their stay in India. Alliance University has an on-campus Health Centre for primary care. Information about nearby multi-specialty hospitals is also provided during orientation.
Campus security operates 24/7 to ensure student safety. Students are advised to follow general safety guidelines while in the city, such as travelling in groups at night and keeping personal belongings secure. Yes. The University Counselling Centre offers free and confidential support for issues such as stress, cultural adjustment, academic pressure, and personal concerns. Sessions can be booked directly with the Centre, and the OIA can help connect you with counsellors familiar with expatriate needs.
