At Strate (Alliance Global Design School), we believe that design is not just about creating objects or visuals—it’s about shaping a better life for everyone. A designer’s journey is about making everyday experiences easier, more beautiful, and more meaningful.
Our philosophy, is what we call our ethos, is simple yet powerful: design should serve people, respect the planet, and embrace creativity across different fields.
1. Design as Service
Good design improves your daily life in ways you may not even notice—from the chair you sit on to the app you use. Designers act as the bridge between engineers, marketers, and normal people. Their goal is always to make life smoother and more enjoyable.
2. Sustainable Design
The world faces big challenges today climate change, waste, and overconsumption. Designers carry a responsibility here too. At Strate, we encourage our students to create user-friendly solutions that are also kind to the planet. Sustainability isn’t a trend; it’s the future.
3. Multidisciplinary Thinking
Design isn’t about learning one subject it’s about learning from many. At Strate, you’ll explore technology, business, psychology, art, and even human behavior. This mix helps you observe real needs and design practical, human-centered, and innovative solutions.
4. Methodology & Tools
Great design needs both process and practice. We believe in teaching students to balance traditional methods (like sketching and modeling) with modern tools (like digital design and 3D printing). It’s about combining the best of both worlds.
5. Giving Shape to Ideas
At its heart, design is about taking an idea and giving it form. It’s about turning imagination into something real, useful, and impactful.
